Abstract
The Romantic movement's philosophy of tying together emotion, nature, and personal experiences is embodied in the poetry of William Wordsworth and S.T. Coleridge, two major exponents. Wordsworth emphasized the spiritual impact of nature on the human mind while praising both the commonplace and the magnificent in nature.
