Abstract

The study aims to identify the pros & cons of the usage of integrated library management software packages by the college libraries of Jammu and Kashmir. This study is an attempt to identify the areas of automation being used by the professionals & to investigate the satisfaction of library professionals and Para professionals towards effective use of ILMS and future expectations of developing software packages. To fulfill the objectives Personal interview/ scheduled questionnaire methods of data collection were used .The findings of the study reveals that SOUL 2.0 is the only Software used by all the Govt. Degree College Libraries of South Kashmir.
