Abstract

This world is watching over the explosion of the vast amount of data i.e., big data being collected which is further used for different decision-making purposes. This collected data contains very sensitive information for a person. Data owners and data providers are at great risk if this sensitive data is not monitored and preserved. Different countries have provided different data privacy-preserving models. This paper highlights these legal frameworks of different regions like the USA, UK, Germany, Switzerland, India, and more. In this paper, a new data privacy-preserving model is also discussed, known as the DCI3 legal model, in detail with its layered approach to preserve data. A comparative analysis is performed among all these models over a healthcare dataset to find out the perfect data privacy-preserving model.
