This is an exploratory article which discusses the Performing Arts at Mandarthi temple situated in Udupi district of Karnataka. Because of these performing arts, we can decipher whether this place is a temple based on the Agama Shastra or a Village Deity. The latter has been conclusively proven as performing arts are connected to the age-old ritual of Naagaradhane, and these performing arts have created an opportunity for further study and research in this area.
