Abstract

In our national agenda, education is essential for everyone. It is necessary for our scientific nature and freedom of mind. Education develops manpower for different levels of the economy. It has to strengthen this world view and inspire younger student generations. It is also needed for cooperation and peaceful co-existence on a global scale. The system should develop and promote basic human values. It should protect and preserve our great culture, traditions at the national level and combine them with other internationally important elements from other cultures and peoples. Education is not only the originator of wealth; it is the creator of citizens. In a democracy, citizens need to ask exploratory questions. The education system prevailing in the country is mainly the strength of the people. Investment in education, especially in higher education, is mandatory as it gives excellent results in the coming years. Hence investment in higher education can be seen as the goal of social, political, economic and intellectual development of the nation. In the current educational scenario, learner autonomy has gained currency. The achievement of the learner remains a distant dream until the teacher is satisfied with what the learner is taught and later acquires it well. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (VI) is the only quality audit system. One of its parameters is "student feedback". And one of the guidelines of the University Grants Commission; NBD is "Evaluation of performance of teachers". Therefore, students are considered judges as far as academic audit of teacher performance is concerned
